The Journal of Dennis is a project I work on from time to time when I can. It follows the tale of a young Ninja warrior from Greenland and ties a lot of different mythologies and histories together. I enjoy it all too much sometimes. However this picture was a sad one. It depicts the outcome of our hero's decisions when he becomes too prideful and forgets who he is. It is the story of Xiao Heping, the tragedy of an innocent village.

That's awesome that you incorporate mythology into your art. I love learning of world mythologies and seeing how they continue to apply nowadays. This is probably one of my favorite sketches so far.
